On 11th July 2006, Sakura Hotel co.ltd., opened ",SAKURA HOSTEL", at the heart of Asakusa, the historical center of Tokyo.
Only minutes away from Asakusa's main temples, shrines, pagoda, traditional shopping arcades, Akihabara Electronic/Animation Town, Ueno National Museum/Zoo &, more.
Sakura Hostel Asakusa is a newly built 6-storied hostel with dorms and twin rooms, common kitchen, comfortable lounge and Internet cafe ideally designed for people to make friends from all over the world.
The members involved in this hostel's opening, from the front staff to the architects, are all backpackers who have been wishing to have a cheap but clean and comfortable hostel which they would like to introduce to their backpacking friends visiting Tokyo.

** From Asakusa line Asakusa station **1 Take ",A4", exit and turn right.
2 You will come to a wide road (Kaminarimon-dori), and see Kaminari-mon, a red large wooden gate on the opposite side of the street, on your left. Cross the street, and pass through the gate.
3 You will get to a narrow street with souvenir shops on both sides, called Nakamise-dori. Walk straight on.
4 You will see another wooden gate called Hozo-mon. Go pass the gate.
5 Eventually, you will reach Senso-ji, the main temple of Asakusa. Turn left, and go around the temple.
6 You will see the amusement park Hanayashiki and its high attraction machines on your left. Walk towards the park.
7 You will reach the main entrance of Hanayashiki. Walk straight on, and go around the amusement park. (Turn right at the first corner)
8 You will see a pink building on your left, which is Sakura Hostel.
