Conveniently located in the heart of Kyoto, Hirashin is a traditional Japanese-style inn with more than 140 years of history.   The hotel features a wide range of modern facilities and services in its 27 well-appointed guestrooms and throughout the premises. Modern comfort and convenience are seamlessly combined to ensure the guests' satisfaction. This hotel is characterized by a combination of modern comfort and traditional element of Kyoto, making it a distinct accommodation.   There are 4 different baths in the inn. (female x 2, male x 2). The spacious public bath has been renovated in 2006. Yukata (light Japanese cotton robe) which guests wear after taking bath are available in your room.

From JR Kyoto station, take the subway 4 minutes to “Shijo Station”, and walk for 3 minutes. We’re also a 3-minute walk from Hankyu private railway “Karasuma Station”.

If you take a taxi, it is about 15 minutes from Kyoto Station.
