Orange Inn in Kyoto

For just night-life lover, Orange-Inn would not be a good choice because it is not necessarily close to main night-spot in Kyoto city.

But, it is very good access from Kyoto Station and to many attractions, such as Kinkakuji-Temple, Ryoanji-Temple, Kiyomizudera-Temple and so on. Also, English and Chinese spoken owner will support planning your travel not only in Kyoto but also all over Japan.

So, it would be very good option among ordinary travelers, who would like to experience traditional and cultural flavour in Kyoto, not just night-life.

Facilities inside is also well-equipped, such as air-conditioning system in many rooms and a guest kitchen for the person who would like to cook and so on. Also, there is a common room where you can watch British and American comedy videos, such as 'Friends', and 'Only Fool and Horses'.

New patio on the top floor, where you will be able to enjoy good scenery and a pint of beer, is now open until 9pm, and if you are not so noisy, until 11pm. Please just enjoy it!!

You can select from three types of bed space, men-only, women-only and mixed for groups. This is based on your demand.

Neighboring facilities are also very good for you. There are some convenience stores, a supermarket, and some cheap cafes and restaurants. So by staying here, you can spend as little as possible. Also, there is a coin laundry nearby.

Also, by obtaining a special support from neighboring restaurant, we can offer you a Kyoto cuisine with very reasonable price (2,000 yen per person). It is no way to miss it if you stay in Kyoto.

This hostel is no smoking, so if you want, please go outside and smoke. Also, we accept cash only and do not accept credit card.

Check-in time is between 2pm and 9pm so if you are late, please call us. Also, check-out time is 11am. It is grateful if you could go out between 11am and 1pm because we need to clean rooms and public spaces.

Cancellation Policy: one day before arrival: 50% of first day's bed fee
2 to 3 days before arrival: 20% of first day's bed fee

A1. From Kyoto Station, go to B3 bus stop, and take 205 bus for Kinkakuji(Golden Temple)-michi to Nishi-oji-Nanajyo bus stop, and about 3 minute's walk. It will take about 10 minutes from Kyoto Station to Nishi-Oji Nanajyo bus stop.

A2. On the way to Orange Inn from Nishi-Oji-Nanajyo bus stop, you walk along Shichijyo-Street to the west, and pass Colorado Cafe on the corner of a narrow street. You cross the first narrow street and the following other two narrow street. When you reach the 4th narrow street and see coin parking space on the right, please turn right. Then, you will find 'Orange Inn'.

B1. From Kyoto station, take JR Tokaido-line to NIshi-Oji Station, and after reaching at Nishi-Oji-Station, turn left at the big street in front, and go straight until you reach the third traffic light at Shichijyo Street. It will take about 10 minutes to Shichijyo-Street. After reaching Shichijyo-Street, pass this zebbra crossing, then turn left. After that you follow the same way as the person who takes bus in order to arrive Orrange Inn. Please read A2 in this part. It will take about 3 minutes from Kyoto Station to Nishi-Oji-Station by train.
