O-yado Sato in Kyoto

We are a ""machiya"" guest house for visitors from overseas to the historical capital of Kyoto. Machiya is a traditional townhouse found throughout Japan, which defined the architectural atmosphere of downtown Kyoto for centuries.   We had a renovated a traditional wooden townhouse built 100 years ago and freshly opened as ""O-yado Sato"" in April 2009.

Wegbeschreibung

From Kyoto Station to our guest house...
Please get to the &quot,Central (Karasuma) Exit&quot, on the north of Kyoto Station and take any of the following ways to our guest house.

Walk (approx. 12 min.)
Walk along the dotted line on the right map while aiming &quot,Wakamiya-Rokujo.&quot,

Subway/Metro (approx. 7 min.)
1. Take the subway for the next station &quot,Gojo.&quot,
2. Exit through No.8 from the &quot,South Gate&quot, and you will see &quot,7 Eleven&quot, a convenience store on your right.
3. Turn right at the corner of the store and then follow the dotted lines on the map.

Bus (approx. 7 min.)
1. Take the city bus No.50 at B2, bus terminal in front of Kyoto Station.
2. Get off at &quot,Nishinotoin-Rokujo&quot, bus stop and cross the street at the light on your right.
3. follow the path with pink pavement and you will find us on your left.

Taxi (approx. 7 min.)
1. Easily catch a taxi in front of the station.
2. Please tell &quot,Wakamiya-Rokujo&quot, to your taxi driver.
