Guesthouse U-en in Osaka

We are an old Japanese guesthouse located in the center of Osaka within walking distance from the JR Loop and the subway station (N19). The ground floor of this building was once a printing factory, and the upper level was a family home. We hope you enjoy the traditional atmosphere of this rustic Japanese home.   You can relax at the large lounge room & cafe place downstairs. If you wish to experience what is a real traditional family home, this is the best place for your stay in Osaka.   -All rooms have Tatami mats with sleeping Futon (Not western style beds) -There used to be just one small shower room but we have another new clean shower room! -All rooms are non smoking. There is a smoking area downstairs at cafe space. -Guest rooms are on the 2nd floor but there is no lift. -Restrooms are shared and separated on the 1st & 3rd floor.

===From KIX (Kansai International Airport)====
From Kansai International Airport:(Approximately 60 minutes between the stations.)
Take JR Kanku Line (Express) bound for Tennoji station, Get off at Tennoji station.
Change the train to JR Osaka Loop Line (Inner bound),Get off at Tamatsukuri station.

===From Shin Osaka Bullet train station ====
From Shin-Osaka (Shinkansen) : (Approximately 30 minutes between the stations.)
Take JR line to Osaka station, change the train to JR Osaka Loop line, Get off at Tamatsukukuri station.
or
Take Subway to Umeda station(M16), change the line to Tamatukuri station( N19)


===How to get to Guesthouse U-en from Tamatsukuri station===

###FROM JR LOOP tamatsukuri station (10 minutes walk)

After you go out of the central gate (NOT the west gate) of the JR station, passing through Yoshinoya (rice bowl restaurant) and shops on your left, turn left at the big street(&quot,Nagahori dori&quot,) which means going to the west.
Go straight about 10 minutes passing trough SevenEleven on your right, and turn right at the 4th big crossroad &quot,KARAHORI-CHO&quot,.
Please notice the sign of &quot,KARAHORI-CHO&quot, with the traffic light. There is a cafe on the corner.
Then, take the 1st turn on the left, walk about 50meters, you will see our building on your right. We are next to the furniture shop &quot,TRUCK&quot, and the Parking lot.


###FROM Subway Tamatsukuri staiton (N19) (5 minutes walk)

Get out of the gate#1 to the right (which means going to the west), passing trough
SevenEleven on your right, turn right at the 2nd big crossroad &quot,KARAHORI-CHO&quot,.
#Please notice the sign of &quot,KARAHORI-CHO&quot, with the traffic light. There is a cafe on the corner.
Then, take the 1st turn on the left, walk about 50meters, you will see our building
