Hotel Alla Salute in Venice

The Hotel alla Salute, with its 56 bedrooms, faces onto the Fondamenta Ca' Balà and is 2 minutes from the splendid Basilica of the Madonna della Salute and 4 minutes from the Punta della Salute opposite Piazza San Marco, the most spectacular panoramic location in Venice.   A few steps from the Hotel is the water bus stop. In 5 minutes it is possible to reach the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Piazza San Marco, the Teatro La Fenice and Ca' Rezzonico – the 18th century Venetian museum. Piazza San Marco can also be reached by gondola: the ferry that goes to the other side of the Grand Canal is very close to the Hotel and costs only 50 centimes!   The Accademia di Belle Arti and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection can be reached on foot in 2-3 minutes. Not far away is the Fondamenta delle Zattere, a romantic walking route celebrated by the Russian writer Josif Brodskij in ""La fondamenta degli incurabili"".

By air:

• From Venice &quot,Marco Polo” airport you have several ways of reaching the Hotel alla Salute:

• By water taxi one arrives at the Rio della Fornace, right in front of the hotel. The fare is around € 100, but we advise you to agree the price before departure,

• By the &quot,Alilaguna&quot, motorboat you arrive after an hour and a half at the Zattere. The price of a ticket is € 13. From the Zattere stop turn right and after the third bridge take the &quot,Fondamenta Cà Balà&quot, on the left. You will find us after a few steps,

• By &quot,Venezia Air Terminal&quot, bus you will reach Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. You can then take the LINEA 1 waterbus and get off at the Salute stop. To reach the Hotel alla Salute you must go on foot for 2/3 minutes: having got off at the landing stage go to the right and cross the small wooden bridge in the direction of the Guggenheim Museum. Before the second bridge turn left into the Fondamenta Ca' Balà. You will find us after a few metres.

By train:

• From the station you can take the LINEA 1 waterbus and get off at the Salute stop. To reach the Hotel alla Salute you must go on foot for 2/3 minutes: having got off at the landing stage go to the right and cross the small wooden bridge in the direction of the Guggenheim Museum. Before the second bridge turn left into the Fondamenta Ca' Balà. You will find us after a few metres.

By car:

• If you arrive by car you can park in Piazzale Roma or at the Tronchetto. From the Tronchetto take the LINEA 2 waterbus to the Zattere stop,

• From Piazzale Roma you can take the LINEA 1 waterbus and get off at the Salute stop. To reach the Hotel alla Salute you must go on foot for 2/3 minutes: having got off at the landing stage go to the right and cross the small wooden bridge in the direction of the Guggenheim Museum. Before the second bridge turn left into the Fondamenta Ca' Balà. You will find us after a few metres.
