Villa Sobrano Country House in Todi

The Villa is a substantial building of the XIII Century with rural outbuildings and common open spaces. It possesses an Italian garden and a small private chapel. In Villa Sobrano you will find 2 suites and 4 double rooms, a living room, a dining room, a fifty square meters gallery and a large wine shop.   Nearby there is also a dependence which is for rental as 2 divided apartments. Not far from the Villa there is the Castle which has a history dating back to the 13th century. The history of Todi and Umbria is encapsulated in its buildings and relationship between man and soil which has so shaped human existence here is still all too evident.

Wegbeschreibung

By car:
From the north (Florence):

Along the A1 motorway exit at Valdichiana, take the Perugia-Bettolle superstrada towards Perugia, past Lake Trasimene until you pass by Perugia. Turn off onto the E45 towards Terni-Roma and continue for 20 minutes until you reach the Todi exit.

From the south (Orvieto):

Along the A1 motorway exit at Orvieto and follow the road along Lake Corbara towards Todi for roughly 20 minutes.


From the south (Rome):

Along the A1 motorway exit at Orte, take the Orte-Terni superstrada and turn off onto the E45 Perugia-Cesena superstrada. Continue for 15 minutes and exit at Collevalenza or the following exit of Todi-S. Damiano.


By train:

Italian Ferrovie dello Stato railway from Orvieto, Orte and/or Terni and Perugia, get off at Todi-Ponte Rio.

By plane:

Perugia 'Sant'Egidio' airport is roughly 35 minutes away by car.
International Rome-Fiumicino 'Leonardo da Vinci' airport is roughly 1 hour 30 minutes away by car.
Rome 'Ciampino' airport is roughly 1 hour 30 minutes away by car.
A bus service to Todi runs three times daily. Pick-up service can be arranged on request.
