We are situated at the bottom of San Calogero Mountain, which is very famous all over the world due to its natural vapour bath grottoes, good for rheumatism and neuralgia therapy. Our estate is about 4 km from the town centre of Sciacca and also from the Sea, situated in a rural and very peaceful idyll of about 50,000 square meters in the middle of a grove of olive trees. Our oldest olive tree is about 2000 years old!!
In our large villa, we live in the ground floor: my husband Massimo, Sicilian (a very simpatico one), our son David, 1/3 German + 2/3 Sicilian (that's what he says) and last but non least me, Doris, German (who is living here in Sicily for more than 10 years). Part of our family is also Rubbia, our lovely dog and our two cats Chip &amp, Chop.

The four brand new (built in June 2004,) nice and cosy apartments are situated on the first floor (mansard.) All units are fully equipped with SAT-TV, Hi-Fi, fridge, toaster, heating, air conditioning, standing fans, linen and towels (changed weekly,) our extra virgin Olive Oil is available for your use during your stay, garden furniture, sunshade, chairs, table, storm lantern, candles, clothes horse etc.

All our guests can use the washing machine, the iron and ironing board, and our internet to check or send emails and will have access to free parking. Happy to announce that our apartments now has WI-FI, so bring your own laptop and surf the internet at top-speed.

One master bedroom, one small bedroom with bunk beds, fully equipped kitchenette, living area with sofa bed, SAT-TV, Hi-Fi, bathroom with shower, private balcony (8 sq.mt.-north).

Ap. FARFALLA: (60 sq.mt.) - 5 persons
One large master bedroom, one large bedroom with three single beds, equipped kitchenette/living area with a sofa and SAT-TV, bathroom with shower, private veranda (15 sq.mt. - South) with very nice panoramic view.


Sciacca (ca.40.000 inhabitants) is situated in the middle of the ancient Greek temples itinerary, on the famous archaeological road between Selinunte and Agrigento. It's one of the oldest towns in the island. Sciacca is noted mostly for its Thermal Spa complex, its beautiful beaches, and it's numerous artisan shops which specialise in ceramic ware.

Within a few minutes drive you will find restaurants, pubs, banks, supermarkets, a post office, hairdressers, cinemas, museum, churches and other visitor attractions. Within ten-minute drive you will reach the finest beaches.

There is an abundance of good, reasonably priced eating establishments in the area. These include pizzerias and restaurants. Anything from the plain and reasonably priced, to the more sophisticated palate is catered for. The Public thermal swimming pool is only 10 minutes away.

From Sciacca you can easily reach the most important sightseeing of Sicily in approximately 1 hour drive:
Palermo - 90 km, Selinunte - 30 km, Segesta - 75 km, Eraclea Minoa - 25 km, Agrigento/Greek temples valley - 55 km, Monreale and Erice - 75 km, Piazza Armerina with its antique Roman villa and mosaics - 140 km

Wegbeschreibung

We are situated at the bottom of San Calogero Mountain, 4 Km from Sciacca and the sea. 60 Km from Agrigento (Sicily).
The direction coming from PALERMO:
From Palermo airport: follow the Motorway A 29, direction MAZARA del VALLO, until the exit CASTELVETRANO.
You'll take the highway ss115 at Castelvetrano in direction of Agrigento/Sciacca. Arriving at Sciacca, always on the highway, you should take the LAST!!!! exit for Sciacca (= AFTER THE TWO TUNNELS!!!!). Take the right and go forward until the sign to Monte San Calogero (two times right). You follow approx. 2 km, always straight on the road Aldo Moro. At the cross road, you don't have to follow the road to San Calogero, you should go straight on. After 1 km, you see a repair shop SCOMA at the right side. Continue this street. After 200 meters you will see a black, open gate. There you turn right and you just will see the house.
It's easy to find us, because you don't have to enter into Sciacca centre.
