The Capital-Inn in Reykjavik

The Capital-Inn welcomes you during your stay in Iceland. The guesthouse was renovated spring 2009 and prepared itself for the coming seasons.   The Capital-Inn provides you with a central location in Reykjavík and is ideal for smaller groups and independent travelers.   The Capital-Inn’s spacious and newly renovated rooms are equipped with TV, washbasin and free wireless internet access throughout the building. Facilities for cooking and storing food are at hand. Please note that most of the rooms have shared facilities.   The mixed bunk bed dorms accommodate 4, 8 and 12 persons in a room. The bathrooms are shared.   Please note that the rate is per dorm bed per night. Breakfast is not included. The Inns experienced owner and employees will gladly help you with any issue that might occur, before or during your stay, such as booking you on tours, getting information and just make your stay more pleasant.

Wegbeschreibung

By bus from Keflavik Airport:

The Fly Bus from Keflavik International Airport stops at the Reykjavik Bus-terminal approx. 2-3 km from The Inn. The taxi fare from the Reykjavik Bus-terminal to us cost about 8 USD.

Driving from Keflavik Airport:

Take the road from the airport to Reykjavik (you can not miss it, it´s just straight!). After about 40 km. you will come to the town of Hafnarfjordur you come to a 1st roundabout go straight, pass trough stoplight go straight, 2nd roundabout go straight, next crossing go direction Reykjavik (that will be right).

After passing under a bridge with a building on top, go down the hill and when you start going up again you will see a bridge (if you look left you should see The Capital-Inn there), take a u-turn on the bridge go back the same road next right turn (is a u-turn) 200 m. up the road on you right.
