Old Quarter Lodge in Limerick

Newly taken over in May 2008 and refurbished The Old Quarter Lodge is located in the heart of Limerick City, adjacent to Cruises Street and off O'Connell Street. Being just 20 minutes from Shannon Airport, 5 minutes from Limerick Train and Bus Station its makes is extremely easily accessible to all visitors.

All rooms are ensuite and decorated with individual artwork. We have single, double and twin rooms with some large and spacious family rooms as well.

All rooms have TV's for your coronation St. and tea and coffee facilities, all bathrooms have showers and all the usuals you would expect......

Most of our rooms are medium to large in size with one or two being slightly cozy!!!!! :-)

We have a 24 hour lounge where you can relax and watch television or read some our books while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee..... there is a drinks and sweets machine if you get peckish and there are beers and drinks if you ask Jim.

We are located in the very heart of Limerick City on Denmark Street. Denmark St has little traffic on it and we are located next to St. Micheals Church.

Please note that due to the fact that we are located in the City Centre it can be noisy around during the weekends.

We have a 24hr reception and everyone here is dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible...... Smiles are free so expect lots !!!!!!

Approaching from the Dublin Road

After following the N7 from Dublin region, you will come to a large shopping centre called the Parkway Shopping Centre. Take the 3rd turn off the roundabout, going straight through, go through 3 sets of traffic lights. At the third set of traffic lights you will see The Hunt Museum ahead of you, keep left as that is your only choice. Drive straight up coming to Arthurs Quay Shopping Centre. Take the second major turn to the left. Drive up this small one way and on the left hand side you will see the Old Quarter, on a pedestrian street.

Approaching from the Cork/Kerry direction

Take the N20 to Childers Road, take a left and continue for approximately 2 miles until you come to a T-Junction take a right and continue straight to city centre. Follow one way system through Henry Street to Arthurs Quay shopping centre. Follow one way system right into Patrick Street and take second left. Drive up this small one way and on the left hand side you will see the Old Quarter, on a pedestrian street.

Directions from Shannon Airport

Take the Limerick Dual Carriageway from Shannon which is well sign posted. On entering the city you will cross a bridge, with a statue on the centre of it, opposite it is an Victorian-Georgian Style Old Boat House on your left. Pass Dunnes Stores, take an immediate left following the one way to Arthurs Quay shopping centre. Follow one way system right into Patrick Street and take second left. Drive up this small one way and on the left hand side you will see the Old Quarter, on a pedestrian street.
