Durag Niwas Guest House (Map p235,Ph2512385, 1 Old Public Park, r Rs 150-650, a) This is a friendly, family-run place, away from the hustle of the old city. Good home-cooked veg dishes are available, and there’s a cushion-floored, sari-curtained area on the roof for hanging out. There’s also a fabulous deal for long-termers: a spacious double room for Rs4500 per month, including full board. The Maharaja Room (Rs 650) is not for the prudish – it sleeps eight people.

The guesthouse is centrally located in Raika Bagh between the Meharangarh Fort and the Umaid Bhavan Palace.
It´s only 10minutes from the main railway station and 5 minutes from the main bus station by taxi or autorikshaw. We will come and pick you up if you give us a call on arrival as this is a free lift for our guest service that we provide from any part of the town at any hour.
