Now under new ownership, the hotel offers stylish, comfortable accommodation in 10 recently refurbished rooms in the center of Edinburgh, close to all that this magnificent city has to offer.   In the heart of the city, just a 10 minute walk from Princes Street, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Edinburgh’s many tourist attractions and the city’s main business districts.   The hotel prides itself on providing a high standard of customer service and with a great location and comfortable well-equipped accommodation, the West End Hotel is a great choice, whether you are visiting Edinburgh on business or as a tourist.   Hotel Description   We have now completed our comprehensive refurbishment which included all of the hotels 6 private rooms and 4 dormitory rooms, the bar area, foyer, self-catering kitchen and lounge, featuring free internet access. If you have booked with an agent online or in person, any deposit made to them is non-refundable. Cancelling a booking within 2 days of the arrival date will see the equivalent of one nights room rate charged to the credit card details provided to us with the booking.   If you have made a booking on any of the following dates, please note a different cancellation policy applies.   Dec 30th 09, Dec 31st 09, Jan 1st 10, Jan 2nd 10.   If cancelling any bookings for these dates we require 2 weeks notice for there to be no charges made to your credit card. Cancelling within 2 weeks of your arrival date will see the total remaining balance of your bill charged to the credit card details provided to us with your booking.

From airport: Take the Shuttle Bus (No 100) to haymarket station and follow the rail directions.

By Rail: Leave Haymarket station and head east to the left of the Haymarket bar. Carry on to Starbucks and turn left onto Palmerston Place. The Hotel is 150 meters down on the right hand side.

By Bus or from Waverly station: walk onto Princes Street and Head West (with the shops on your right hand side,) continue to the End of Princes Street and beyond for another 5 minutes. You will approach a junction with a Starbucks and a Chemist, turn right onto Palmerston Place. The Hotel is 150 meters down on the right hand side.

By Air:

The hotel is approximately 10 km from Edinburgh Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport or you can take advantage of the hotel’s excellent public transport links. The bus ride from the airport to the hotel takes about 20 minutes.
