Hotel Mons am Goetheplatz in Munich

Our hotel is located at “Goetheplatz”, within walking distance of the “Oktoberfest” (ca. 5 min.), the central station (10 - 15 min.), and the town center (10 min.). If you don’t enjoy walking, you’ll find the underground (U3 and U6), buses and a taxi rank right outside our doors.   Hotel “Mons am Goetheplatz” - long-established and well-known in Munich - has been partly refurbished and will soon become the design hotel near the “Oktoberfest”.   For smaller travel budgets we still offer special rates for our 11 hostel rooms, with shared showers and toilettes, wash-basins in every room, free towel and bed linen, etc. There’s also free WLAN-access on the premises.   During the coming months you can book these hostel-style rooms at a special rate, before they, too, will be converted into the new “Mons”-style.   And what’s best: outside your hostel room you’ll enjoy a completely refurbished and stylish hotel environment, like our breakfast lounge etc.   There are lots of cool bars and good restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. Our friendly and well-informed staff can tell you all about the hippest places in town.   PLEASE NOTE! We don’t have 24-hour-reception. In case of late arrival, please give us sufficient notice, so that we can arrange for your check-in.

The hotel is within walking distance of the central station. You can also take a bus (line 58) or the underground (U3 or U6) to &quot,Goetheplatz&quot,, right outside our entrance.

From the airport, take the city train (S8) and change to the underground (U3 or U6) at &quot,Marienplatz&quot,. Get off at &quot,Goetheplatz&quot,. Travel time is about 45 minutes.
