The “Port Salut Beach House Bar and Grill” is located near the turquoise Caribbean Sea in the coastal village of Port Salut, Haiti. It is a very safe establishment with 24 hour security. The unassuming “Caille Creole” appearance outside fades as you enter into the lively courtyard and tropical garden. The five simple rooms are comfortable and breezy featuring mosquito nets and privacy. The best feature is the &quot,islandy&quot, thatch-roof covered bar and restaurant area located on the roof top with amazingly beautiful views of the world famous white sands of Point Sable Beach! Fully functioning and fully staffed, cold drinks and hot food are available all day.

Try a dug-out canoe ride with a local fisherman, or take a hike in the lush countryside and visit one of the local waterfalls not far away. Ask about a visit to the local hougan or a voodoo fete! Local information is available and guided trips can be arranged.

You can easily fly from Port-au-Prince to Les Cayes. The International Airport is right next to the local airport which is called &quot,Guy Malary.&quot, A five dollar taxi ride will transfer you, or you could easily walk it if you're not loaded down. Your flight reservations should be made in advance, otherwise you likely won't find a seat. We'd be happy to help with your reservation.

You will arrive at the &quot,Antoine Simon&quot, airport just outside Les Cayes. Plan ahead with Port Salut Beach House Bar &amp, Grill to arrange transportation. We'll meet you there and transfer you directly to the hostel! Let us know, you will get all of our contact information upon booking.

You may also want to try the scenic bus trip from Port-au-Prince to Les Cayes to save money. From Cayes to Port Salut &quot,tap-taps&quot, are available. Go early however, as they stop running in early afternoon. Just ask for the &quot,Port Salut Station.&quot, The Port Salut Beach House Bar &amp, Grill is located about 300 meters down the road from the lovely Point Sable Beach. It is on the sea side of the road, you can't miss the signs. Bring your fins and snorkel!
