Wli Waterfall Lodge in Hohoe

Sitting on our terrace you have a great view to the beautiful Wli Waterfall and Into the mountains with Ghana's highest summit Mount Afadjato (880 m). The environment invites to be discovered by foot or bike.   On the way to the Wli waterfall the guide describes you the remarkable plants. You discover butterflies and flying dogs and have a rest at benches made of bamboo.   Having a bath or natural shower at the lower part of the waterfall is pleasant refreshment especially during hot days. To reach the upper cascades climbing boots and stamina are essential.   The traditional African festivals take place on Easter Monday and during the last weekend in October.   You'll take the nicest photos at noon time sun light.

From Accra in Ghana with rental car, S.T.C-Bus (overland bus) or Trotro (public van) to Hohoe (approx. 270 km north). The road from Accra to Akosombo (approx.80 km) is in good condition, after that asphalt with potholes. The final five kilometres are gravel road
