They have different trips that you can do which contribute to the local economy and they themselves contribute some of their profits to the community fund of the local village. you can visit schools, do local walks with a very interesting, informative and spritely 50-something called Mr Victor who can be found in the local village, Akwidaa,. which itself is a very friendly place. The children bombard you with performances of timetables! Incidentally the light house keeper at Cape Three Points has changed, he is no longer the jovial custodian you describe! The current man is a money grabbing lunatic, though Mr Victor seemed adamant that this wouldn’t be allowed to continue as it was public property and we actually all had a right to visit FREE OF CHARGE.
