Whether you are picnicking, dining in a gourmet restaurant or relaxing on a café terrace, savour the delicious local produce and enjoy the hospitality of our wonderful region.   Resort Azay le Rideau is a small town located on the banks of the Indre river, 25km south west of Tours and 20km east of Chinon. It is better known for its beautiful renaissance castle surrounded on three sides by the tree-lined river. There is also a 9th century church with a façade embellished with statues. By road:
260 km from Paris – 25 km from Tours
A10 motorway towards Orléans. Leave motorway at Joué-Les-Tours, Chinon (exit N°24) then A85 towards Chinon, Ballan-Miré. Take exit N°9 Azay le rideau - Chinon.
Coming from TOURS: at the roundabout of the supermarket Champion, take the 2nd exit (D 39, direction Valleres/Villandry). After 300m, turn left (rue Tournois). After 200m, turn right. Continue about 300m: the residence is on your left.
Coming from the centre of AZAY: take the direction of TOURS, after the Hotel Val de Loire (Best Western), take the 1st left. Pass under the bridge and turn the 1st left. The residence is in front of your after 300m.

By rail:
TGV train to Tours (Paris-Tours in 1 hour) 25 km from Azay Le Rideau
From Tours, take TER train to Chinon (Bus or autorail), stop at Azay-le-Rideau railway station.

TOURS-VAL DE LOIRE International Airport, 10 minutes away by coach or by car (6km)
