Further more, entering Conflans by the ""Porte de Savoie"" is like stepping back in time. On the Roman road from Milan to Vienna via the Petit Saint Bernard pass, Conflans witnessed the passage of merchants, peddlers and pilgrims. Streets and alleyways remain the same as at the time of the Green Count, Amédée VI, count of Savoy.   Genève : (91 km) Geneva is located between the Alps and the Jura mountains, at the extreme south-west of Switzerland and the Lake Geneva. Access
Access by road:
A6 motorway to Macon, then A40 motorway (Autoroute Blanche) to &quot,Le Fayet&quot,. Then take N 205 road towards Chamonix / Tunnel du Mont Blanc. In Chamonix, head towards Argentière. Entering Argentière, the residence is on your left after the first bridge, opposite to the train station.

Access by rail:
TGV to Saint Gervais (28 km) and Argentière railway station (50 m from the residence). Connection at &quot,Le Fayet&quot, railway station.

Access by plane:
Geneva Airport (98 km)
Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport (228 km).
