The Raintree in Suva
‘The Raintree’ was the first fully designed Ecotourism Resort in the Fiji Islands and opened in September 1999. We offer a full service resort for every one from backpackers to families and business guests in Suva!
Situated just 15 minutes from Suva, (the largest city in the Pacific,) a college town with Uni's and colleges, there is more to do from the Raintree than anywhere in the Pacific!

The Raintree is located right on Princes Road, Colo-i-Suva (pronounced Tholo-ee-Suva and means ",abve Suva,",) opposite the police post and next to the spectacular forest park, which is renown for its magnificent walking paths, bird life and 11 waterfalls and the Fiji forestry department!
Princes Road is the scenic alternative route between Nausori Airport and Suva. Raintree Lodge is approximately 15 minutes from the airport and 12 minutes from Suva. Trips to Suva are easy by local bus or taxi from our doorstep.
Wegbeschreibung
If you are coming from Nadi, fly to Nausori Airport or travel by bus (3.5 hour scenic drive) to Suva. Raintree Lodge is a 12 minute drive from Suva City. From Nausori Airport take a taxi ($12 FJD).From Suva take the local 'Saweni' bus (Tacirua bus company) from bus stand next to the market in Suva, 90 cents, children half price, runs every hour, 6:00 a.m. – 19:00 p.m., ask to get off at Raintree Lodge in ‘Colo I Suva.’ Taxis from Suva cost $7.50 to $8.00 FJD.
