Heavens Edge Resort in Nadi
Perched up in the highlands of Nadi, Heaven's Edge is set on the edge of a mountain near the Vaturu Dam. It is 15 minutes drive to Nagado Village where the Treatment Plant is located. Then there is another 45 minutes drive by our four wheel drive on rough and rugged road to reach us. The ride is an experience in itself and the view of Nadi Bay when you are driving up the rugged mountain is unbelievable.
Who Owns and Runs Heaven's Edge?
The business is owned and run by the Landowners belonging to the Mataqali Qoqa (Clan). The Mataqali Qoqa owns the majority of the land where the Vaturu Dam sits. So you are the Guest of the Landowners when you stay with us.
Why the name - Heaven's Edge?
The setting is up high, away from the rest of the world, on the edge of a mountain. You are surrounded by 360-degree panoramic views of lush tropical canyons and sky. It is simply heaven on earth.
What can we do while staying in the Mountains?
Sit amongst nature - underneath the trees and read a book, meditate or try bird watching.
We have seats in the forest where you can take your book and read, write or paint.
Horse riding - we have set routes that you can ride with our tame horses.
3 Meals a day are included in the price of the reservation.
Trekking or Mountaineering - you can go with our local guide, who will explain the history of our land, plants and natural medicines.
Fishing in the lake/dam - you can go and fish for your dinner and we will gladly cook it for you the way you like, either tavu (charcoal roast), boiled or fried on the pan - you decide.
You can even take a ride on bilibili - traditional Fijian bamboo raft in the lake. Or kayak instead at your leisure.
Swim at the waterfall.
