We are 10 minutes from Edinburgh city centre by bus and within walking distance to the fashionable ""Edinburgh Waterfront"" where you will find the Royal Yacht Britannia, Ocean Terminal and the Scottish Office.   Superb 4 star accommodation that is warm and welcoming with tasteful surroundings. All rooms are non smoking with en-suite shower facilities. Some rooms have king, super-king, four-poster or sleigh beds. Sandaig is a family home and occupies two mid terraced Victorian villas dating from c.1870. Sandaig has been awarded ' Scottish Tourist Board' 4 Star Rating.   We are located less than one and a half miles from Edinburgh city centre and Waverly station, which takes 5-10 minutes by bus car or taxi. There is free on street car parking, a regular bus service into the city centre (bus numbers 12 or 25), and a wealth of gourmet restaurants to suit every palate situated within the fashionable Water of Leith area, just a ten minute walk away.   We are more than happy to arrange fresh flowers or chocolates for that special occasion.   Derek and Marina look forward to welcoming you to The Sandaig......   Please note that upon receipt of your booking we will charge the first nights accommodation to your credit/debit card details and your booking is subject to the terms and conditions below:- Once a booking has been made and security such as a credit card number or deposit has been given to reserve the room, then it means that we have a ""confirmed reservation.” Should you then wish to cancel or amend this reservation (for whatever reason) our cancellation policy is as follows: 0 - 7 days = 100% of total booking 7-14 days 100% of first night 14 + days 10% of full booking Amendments to bookings are charges at 10% of full reservation All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us for refund purposes We advise you consider taking out travel insurance for any unexpected cancellations. Wegbeschreibung

From City Centre and Waverley Station - Take a No. 22 or 25 bus, £2.50 for an all day ticket or £1.10 for a single journey. Please be aware no change given and exact money must be given in coins to the driver.

From airport, take Airport bus to Waverley Bridge then above bus, or take local bus no. 35 from airport and ask the driver for Leith Links - approx 1hour and 10 minutes but is the cheapest option and avoids changing buses.

Taxi's are readily available at Edinburgh Airport and cost around £20 to our door.
