Hillspring Lodge is a brand new hostel bought to you by the same team that created Palmers Lodge! We may not have a grand old Victorian Mansion but we have paid the same attention to detail to create a cracking backpacker where particular attention has been paid to comfort, security and character.   Our comfortable rooms, spacious common areas, quality furnishings and restaurant are just some of the reasons for choosing to stay at Hillspring Lodge on your next London visit.   Leveraging off the success of our hugely popular sister hostel, Palmers Lodge, we at Hillspring Lodge aim to bring our guests a unique hostel experience so far not seen in London. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail, and we have given thought to the things that other hostels forget such as free wireless internet and WiFi, quality breakfasts included in our price, comfortable, clean and secure accommodation. Hillspring Lodge is located just minutes away from the Willesden Green underground station, which is zone two on the Jubilee Line, and 17 minutes to Green Park Underground station in the heart of London.

To get to Hillspring Lodge from the Willesden Green Underground station:
• Walk out of the Willesden Green Underground station and cross over the road in front of you, turning right along Walm Avenue.
• Walk 500 metres and turn left into to Willesden Lane.
• Walk 500 metres to Hillspring Lodge which will be on your right.

From the Airports

Gatwick

From 6:00 until 24:00
• Take Gatwick Express Train (£16.90 – 30 minutes) or National Express Bus (£7.30 – 90 minutes) to Victoria Coach Station.
• Walk to Victoria Underground station (You will already be in the station if you took the Gatwick Express) and take the Victoria Line to Green Park Underground station.
• From Green Park change onto the Jubilee Line to Willesden Green Underground station (total Underground cost £4.00 - 20 minutes)
• Walk out of the Willesden Green Underground station and cross over the road in front of you, turning right onto Walm Avenue.
• Walk 500 metres and turn left onto to Willesden Lane.
• Walk 500 metres to Hillspring Lodge on your right.

From 24:00 until 6:00 (or if Underground is not working)
• Take the National Express Bus (£7.30 – 90 minutes) to Victoria Coach Station.
• Walk to the Victoria Underground station and take the Route Bus 36, or N16 (Stop H), 148(stop G), or N73 (stop D) bus towards Marble Arch Station. (5 minutes)
• At Marble Arch Station take Route Bus N98 towards Stanmore or Willesden Bus Garage. (total Route Bus cost £4.00 – 40 minutes)
• Get off at Sidmouth Road stop and you will see Hillspring Lodge on your left.


Heathrow

From 6:00 until 24:00
• Catch the London Underground (90 minutes) to Green Park Underground Station.
• Change to the Jubilee Line to Willesden Green Underground station. (total Underground cost £4.00 - 20 minutes)
• Walk out of the Willesden Green Underground station and cross over the road in front of you, turning right onto Walm Avenue.
• Walk 500 metres and turn left onto to Willesden Lane.
• Walk 500 metres to Hillspring Lodge on your right.

Alternatively

• Catch the Heathrow Express to Paddington station. (£16.50 - 20 minutes)
• Change to either the Bakerloo, Circle or Hammersmith and City lines to Baker Street Underground station.
• Change to the Jubilee Line to Willesden Green Underground station. (total Underground cost £4.00 - 20 minutes)
• Walk out of the Willesden Green Underground station and cross over the road in front of you, turning right onto Walm Avenue.
• Walk 500 metres and turn left onto to Willesden Lane.
• Walk 500 metres to Hillspring Lodge on your right.

From 24:00 until 6:00 (or if Underground is not working)
• Take the National Express Bus (£5.00 – 75 minutes) to Victoria Coach Station.
• Walk to the Victoria Underground station and take the Route Bus 36, or N16 (Stop H), 148(stop G), or N73 (stop D) bus towards Marble Arch Station.
• At Marble Arch Station take Route Bus N98 towards Stanmore or Willesden Bus Garage. (total Route Bus cost £4.00 – 40 minutes)

• Take the National Express A6 (£10.00 – 90 minutes) to Finchley Road stop.
• Walk to the Finchley Road Underground station and take the Jubilee line to Willesden Green Underground station. (total Underground cost £4.00 - 20 minutes)
• Walk out of the Willesden Green Underground station and cross over the road in front of you, turning right onto Walm Avenue.
• Walk 500 metres and turn left onto to Willesden Lane.
• Walk 500 metres to Hillspring Lodge on your right.

Note: For more than one person it makes sense to use the after-hours directions below and split the cab ride.

From 24:00 until 6:00 (or if Underground is not working)
• Take the National Express A6 (£10.00 – 90 minutes) to Finchley Road stop.
• Walk along Finchley Road for 500 metres in the same direction as the bus and turn left on College Crescent.
• Walk 300 metres up the hill to Palmers Lodge hostel and order a taxi from reception to Hillspring Lodge. (£6.00 per car – 10 minutes)

Luton

From 6:00 until 24:00
• Take the Green Line 757 Coach (£15.00 – 70 minutes) to Finchley Road stop.
• Walk to the Finchley Road Underground station and take the Jubilee line to Willesden Green Underground station. (total Underground cost £4.00 - 20 minutes)
• Walk out of the Willesden Green Underground station and cross over the road in front of you, turning right onto Walm Avenue.
• Walk 500 metres and turn left onto to Willesden Lane.
• Walk 500 metres to Hillspring Lodge on your right.

By Road

Willesden Lane is off the Hendon Way (A41) in Willesden Green. If you are driving into London the best route to take would be to join the A41 from North London via the M25, M1, A1 or A406 North Circular. Once on the A41 follow it to Cricklewood and turn right onto Cricklewood Lane, passing Cricklewood Rail, turning left on to Willeseden Lane after passing the Willesden Green tube station (on your right). Please refer to map.
Parking is available at the hostel but please advise us when you make your booking that a space will be required.
