What makes us a grand hostel? It's certainly not just the historical building situated in the heart of Berlin but the infrastructure of the hostel and the service benefits of a hotel.   We offer a 24 hour reception desk, early check in or late check out free of charge (if available), modern and clean sanitary facilities, an invitation to afternoon tea, modern interior fittings, large lockable cupboards, a luggage room, informative staff, a map of Berlin free of charge, a luscious breakfast served daily until 12 pm (at the weekend till 2pm).   We also offer home made cakes and there is always a cold beer waiting for you at our bar. Other facilities include a music and television room, a public internet counter, city tours, bike rental and of course we will always have a free minute or two for you – and that's 24 hours a day!   You wont find any bunkbeds at Grand Hostel Berlin. Enjoy our really comfortable single and double beds. Linen is obligatory ones €2,50.   Like you we too like to travel and have always enjoyed the feeling of being welcomed with open arms in all the places we visit! That is why we see ourselves as your host and we make it our mission to greet our guests in a hearty and professional way.   When you leave our hostel with a smile on your face, then hopefully we can say that we have done something right!

Take the Bus M41 (direction Sonnenallee) to the station &quot,Willy-Brandt-Haus&quot,. From there walk approx. 200 m in the same direction as the bus is running towards the bridge. Cross the bridge, turn right at the lights. Approx. 200 m walking distance to the Hostel - Number 14

From Ostbahnhof:

Take the S Train in the direction of Ostkreuz and change trains at the train station Warschauer Strasse. Then take the underground train (U-Bahn) U1 in the direction of Uhlandstraße and exit at &quot,Möckernbrücke&quot,. Take the exit where a florist shop is located. Walk past the florist - walk upstairs and turn right at the street. Approx. 100 m down the Tempelhofer Ufer you will the Hostel at number 14.

From Airport Schoenefeld:

Take the bus X7 (Terminal Schoenefeld) to the train station (U- Bahnhof) Rudow
Take the underground train (U-Bahn) U7 in the direction of Rathaus Spandau and exit at the train station &quot,Möckernbrücke&quot,. Take the exit where a florist shop is located. Walk past the florist - walk upstairs and turn right at the street. Approx. 100 m down the Tempelhofer Ufer you will the Hostel at number 14.

From Airport Tegel:

Take the bus 109 in the direction of Zoologischer Garten and get out at the train station Jacob-Kaiser-Platz. Take the underground train (U-Bahn) U7 in the direction of Rudow and exit at &quot,Möckernbrücke&quot,.Take the exit where a florist shop is located.
