Victoria Hall II, on Upper Brook Street is a private student hall of residence, in an excellent location and we have rooms to rent to over the summer months. (NB You needn't be a student to stay here over the summer) All bedrooms are en-suite with their own toilet, sink and shower. Each bedroom also benefits from study desk, broadband internet socket, phone and TV socket, desk lamp and ample storage space including a built in wardrobe. The rooms are clean, simple and bright.

Flats have either 3, 4 or 5 en-suite bedrooms and also a communal fully furnished lounge and fully stocked kitchen. Each flat communal area has a TV with Sky TV package included at no extra charge for quiet nights in. Each bedroom has its own lockable door and considering they also have their own bathrooms our accommodation offers more privacy than many other hostels.

Site benefits from being within walking distance of Oxford Road and all the Universities. Why not pay a visit to Manchester's famous 'Curry Mile'? We are only a short distance away. Don't want to walk into town?...There is a bus stop outside the front door with buses leaving every 5 minutes to the vibrant city centre.

Relax in the knowledge on 24 hour recorded CCTV, secure fob activated access, onsite Reception and 24 hour security/caretaker team. We also have a launderette, and landscaped garden areas with outdoor tables and chairs for warmer days.

Car parking is available in our secure, CCTV monitored car park for just £10.00 per week

Wegbeschreibung

We are on Upper Brook Street, opposite the hospital car park.

Buses:
It can take anywhere between 5 minutes and 15 minutes to reach the city centre via bus depending on the time of day and traffic.

The number 50 bus travels from the stop across the road and right opposite Victoria Hall. Buses come every couple of minutes and go straight into the city centre including a stop outside the Central Library in St Peter’s Square. A day pass on this bus is £3.00 or £10.00 for a weekly “Mega-Rider.” Alternatively a single ticket to or from the city centre will cost around £1.70.
The number 147 also travels every few minutes from the stop directly opposite Victoria Hall and goes to Piccadilly Rail Station.
The 130 can be caught from the stop directly opposite Victoria Hall every few minutes. Some of its stops include Oxford Road Rail Station and Piccadilly Gardens in the city centre.

If driving:

From the South-

Take the M6 to Junction 19 and join the A556 east-bound (signposted Manchester Airport). At the end of this road join the M56 leading into Manchester. Continue to follow signs for the city on the A5103 Princess Road, turning right just in front of the Royal Brewery onto B5219 Moss Lane East. Continue across the crossroads with Lloyd Street North, past Whitworth Park on your left to the junction with B5117 Wilmslow Road. Turn left onto Wilmslow Roadand then take the next right onto Hathersage Road in front of St Marys Hospital. Victoria Hall is on your left at the next crossroads.

From the North and West-

Take the M62 (from the North take the M60 ringroad to Junction 12) ad join the M602 following signs for manchester city centre. At the end of the motorway follow Regent Road, through the underpass and onto the elavated A57 (M) Mancunian Way. Take the exit signposted A34 University Congleton just before the UMIST campus, round a very tight left turn, and join Upper Brook Street underneath where you have just come from. Victoria Hall is about a mile further on your left.
