Village Torre Pendente in Pisa

The Camping Village Torre Pendente is located only 800 meters far from the world famous Leaning tour and its astonishing Piazza dei Miracoli, but also only 1 km far from the historical city centre and the river Arno. For those who love nature it will be fabulous to discover that our site is only two km far from the Natural Park of San Rossore, which can be visited on foot, by bicycle or even by horse! From here, you can also easily reach nice cities such as Lucca, Firenze, Viareggio, Cinque Terre etc: our staff will be glad to help you plan your holiday, even before that, you leave home!
Arriving here, you are greeted with a familiar and cosy atmosphere that stays with you all your stay here! Either you could relax on the swimming pool reading a good book or you can rent a bicycle and a scooter to discover the beauty of our city. During high season you will be entertained by animation (live music, karaoke, magic shows, dancing).
Do not forget that on the site you will also find a restaurant-pizzeria, a bar, a mini-market and one little bazaar full of clothes and souvenirs.
You can choose between private room’s en-suite or dormitory (female, male or mixed dorms).

Attention! The campsite is closed during the winter (October-April) so no reservations for this period are to be considered valid!

Summer breakfast: From 8 to 10 o'clock on the swimming pool! One croissant, orange juice and 1 cappuccino 3, 00€ extra per person!

1km from the town centre, tennis court and riding at 1-2 km, golf court at 15 km, 10 km from the seaside resorts of Marina di Pisa and Tirrenia, 20 km from Livorno's harbour towards Corsica, Elba and Sardinia islands.

Excursions: to the Natural Park S. Rossore (3 km), Lucca, Grotta del Vento, S. Gimignano, Volterra, Florence, Carrara marble quarries and 5 Terre, in summer one day boat trips from Marina di Pisa to Elba, Capraia, Cinque Terre and Portofino.


In case of bookings of one or two beds in or four-bed-dormitories, it may happen that you will be given a two-bed-dormitory instead according to room’s availability! On the other hand, if you book 1 or 2 beds in a dormitory for 3 people, it may happen that you will be given a four-bed-dormitory instead according to room’s availability!

Wegbeschreibung

By car:
- From North: A11, A12 (motorways) exit Pisa Nord, then turn left onto S.S. 1 (Aurelia) and go straight about 5 Km, at the 3rd traffic light turn left.
- From South: A12 exit Pisa Centro, take the speedway(S. G. C.) called FI-PI-LI and leave it at the second exit onto S.S. 1(Aurelia)and go to the left for about 1 km, at the 5th traffic light turn right.
- From Florence: S. G. C. FI-PI-LI, leave the speedway at the first exit after the airport that you will see on your left. Afterwards onto S.S. 1 (Aurelia) for about 1 km. At the 5th Traffic light turn right.

By Train (Pisa Centrale)
Take bus LAM red line, direction San Jacopo. When you go out from the station cross the square with the fountain that you find in front of you. Then cross the road. The bus stop is just in front the entrance of Jolly Hotel next to the traffic light. When you are on the bus ask to the driver to drop you off in front of Piazza dei Miracoli (The Field of Miracles). From there walk straight for about 300 metres keeping the Square on your right, till you find a roundabout. There cross the road and go to the left side where you will see a big supermarket called Pam. Cross the underpass. The campsite is at other side of the tunnel about 200 mt to the right.
By taxi it would cost you about 10/15 Euros.

From Pisa International Airport:
Take bus LAM red line. The bus stop is in the airport car park where you see the sign “City Bus”. When you are on the bus ask to the driver to drop you off in front of Piazza dei Miracoli (The Field of Miracles). From there walk straight for about 300 metres keeping the Square on your right. Until you find roundabout. There cross the road and go to the left side where you will see a big supermarket called Pam. Cross the underpass. The campsite is at other side of the tunnel about 200 m to the right.
By taxi it would cost you about 10/15 Euros.
