Beijing Sweet Garden House is located in a nice, quiet and very comfortable Hutong courtyard. The courtyard, Chinese-style garden have been recently renovated and offers an authentic traditional Beijing lifestyle lodging at affordable, if not hard to beat in terms of value for money, prices. The Sweet Garden House is conveniently located in No.19 Dongsi Qi Tiao of Dongcheng District of Beijing. The Sweet Garden House was opened by creative people who have been in the hotel, hostelling and touring business for many years and have combined their shared knowledge to offer you, the guest, and the best possible service.   Walking into a Beijing HuTong is like a stroll through history and only in a HuTong can you experience real Chinese/Beijing lifestyle, which today is a fast developing city loosing much of its traditional face - not in the HuTongs and our hostel, Sweet Garden House reserves this history.   When arriving in the Sweet Garden House, you will instantly forget the noisy and crowded streets of Beijing and be able to relax listening to the birds whistling above and watching the HuTong life outside. HuTongs are a very social place. You will see people in the narrow HuTong alleys chatting and playing while drinking and just generally social in these quite alleys.   The Sweet Garden House has new, nice, tidy and clean facilities & equipment. There are in total 20 rooms with conditions for guests, including single rooms, double rooms, four and six person dorms. Each room is equipped with a security alarm, fire alarms and electricity plugs. On each floor of the guest house and in the garden there are clean toilets, showers and washing rooms. There is also the reception room (lobby), a kitchen, laundry room, TV area, public telephones (also for international calls) and the peaceful rest area in the garden. Of course you can also surf the Internet in the hostels reception room.   Our helpful staff will always be ready to help you have the best possible time in Beijing which is why the hostel has staff on duty 24 hours per day, which also means there is no curfew or lockout. Your room can be opened for you at any time of the day. Of course our staff will also make sure that all guests can sleep peacefully throughout the night.   Location and interesting places nearby The Sweet Garden House is located in Beijing city center at 19 Dong Si Qi Tiao (in the 7th alley of the Dong Si HuTong Area). There is convenient public transport within walking distance, for example bus No.834 which can take you to the Summer Palace and the Dong Si Shi Tiao Subway station, which is the line 2 ring line and can take you easily to many tourist attractions and shopping areas. Either transport options can be walked to in or less than 10 minutes.   Otherwise nearby are the famous San Li Tun Bar Street which has many good bars and restaurants (15min to the East by foot) or by walking to west you will find Beijing biggest shopping street Wang Fu Jing and the Oriental Plaza from which again it is only 10 minutes (by foot) to Tian'anmen, The Great Hall of the People and the Palace Museum are located. 10min (by foot) to the North is the Lama Temple, which is also always worth a visit.   FREE PICKUP SERVICE The Sweet Garden House is the only hostel in Beijing to offer this service. How to get to the Sweet Garden House

From Airport: The line 1 and 3 shuttle bus to Dongsi Shi Tiao. It costs 16RMB to Dongsi Shi Tiao, then to west you can choice taxi or walking to No.19 Dongsi Qi Tiao (Sweet Garden ). By taxi is 10RMB, by walking is about 15 minutes.
You also can take the airport subway from the airport to Dong Zhi Men ,then change the bus 24 get off at the Dong Si Jiu Tiao.then keep walking follow the bus going,if you find the second hutong on your right hand.just go in said about 100m. or by taxi ten yuan.
From Beijing Central Railway Station: No.24 and No.713 bus to Jiu Tiao,then go back and cross the street, Hutong Qi tiao is just there.
From West Railway Station: No.823 bus to Dong Si Shi Tiao, walking follow the bus going,Then turn right at the frist turn,the third of the hu tong go in.
Get out of the Hutong where the hostel located, there is the bus No.834 directly going to Summer Place. Going further 5 minutes away, you can get to the subway, Dongsi Shitiao Station. It takes only 15 minutes to get to famous Sanlitun Bar Street, Yabaolu Silk Market and Embassy area. On Bus No. 24, one kilometers south lies Beijing Central Railway Station. Nearby on the west are the famous business and shopping areas, Dongdan and Wangfujing, about 10 minutes' walk find yourself in front of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Look on the north and 10 minutes' walk, you come to Lama Temple.
