Hostel Solor, which means ‘flamingo’ in the native Quechua language, is a clean, warm and quiet place. It’s ideal for travellers who enjoy quietness and want to catch their breath. Service is provided by the Hostal’s owner, Silvia, a native of San Pedro de Atacama, who offers a welcoming and warm environment with caring attention.   The hostel offers quietness and a secure environment to relax all year round and comfortable rooms which are equipped with private restrooms and warm water all day.   Hostal Solor runs a continental breakfast service, tourist information, bus transfers to local tourist, trip agencies or back to the Hostel. The hostel also has contacts with an agency that offers private tours.   Other facilities include reading tables and a seated area where refreshing drinks can be consumed.   The hostel also has secure on-street parking.

We are located 200 meters south of the Customs.

To get from the street Licancabur (The starting point to Calama and the bus terminal), follow this road towards the mountains, then get to a water channel and you must take the Ignacio Carrera Pinto street and turn right (southbound). Follow this street until the Solena Restaurant (opposite the school). Then you should take a small street, turning left and when you reach the street tumis tours go to the right and walk until you cross a football field. Then cross the first block of the street and get to Volcano Tatio. Tours will be on the left and you will see the inn with a sign and two coffee bushes.
