In the neighborhood one can walk or bike ride 100 km through Mata Atl?ntica (Atlantic Forest). Jacuzzi, day long and year round sunny swimming pool (whenever it is sunny off course) six car garage and a 5000 sqft garden makes up the Casa 14.   Room telephone, cozy bar, sat?lite TV and free kitchen are standard. Pets and kids are accepted. Bicycles, local maps and binoculars for bird watching are available for lent.

Alto da Boa Vista has three bus lines (225,233 and 234) day and night. Metro up to Sans Pena Plaza and bus, vans and Cabs (15 reals a ride). It is possible to call Casa 14 and be picked up if you are nearby. There is four roads from Alto to main urban area: to Tijuca(4 mi), Copacabana(16 mi), Downtown(16 mi), São Conrado Beach(5 mi), Botanic Garden(7 mi) and Barra(8 mi).
