*If you have the Hostelling Membership card you can get a discount in the room rate! Situated in Pelourinho, Salvador's historic district, Albergue das Laranjeiras' location is excellent. Besides its architectural ensemble, nowadays Pelourinho is a great leisure and culture center. With its cafes, bars, theaters, dance halls and art galleries, Pelô is a festival full of Bahian spirit, especially when Olodum band performs. Our guests can reach all this on foot, and enjoy it anytime, day or night, with complete peace of mind.   The hostel is also an excellent option for beachgoers. Near the hostel, at Praça da Sé, you can take a bus to any beach in Salvador or on the north coast. In the opposite direction, if you take the Plano Inclinado (Inclined Plane tram) or Lacerda Elevator, you can easily travel by boat to the beaches of Itaparica Island and Morro de São Paulo.   At Praça da Sé you can also take the more comfortable ""executivo"" buses to the airport and to the Bus Station. Finally, for those who come here by car, Laranjeiras Hostel offers the additional advantage of being located near convenient private parking facilities.

From the Bus Station:
cross the pedestrian footbridge from the Bus Station to Iguatemi mall and take the &quot,executivo&quot, bus to Praça da Sé at the bus stop outside Iguatemi mall. Get off at the last bus stop and follow the attached map up to the Hostel. Another alternative is to take the Barroquinha bus at the Bus Station, get off at Arapuã Shop in Baixa dos Sapateiros and walk up Ladeira de Inácio Accioli, towards São Francisco Church. Around the corner, on Rua das Laranjeiras, you can see the hostel, as shown on the Map.

From the Airport:
take the Airport-Praça da Sé &quot,executivo&quot, bus, get off at the last bus stop and follow the attached map to reach the Hostel.

After 8 p.m., it is advisable to take a taxi.
