Leaving Cairns heading north on the Captain Cook Highway travel ten minutes north by car then take a left at the roundabout indicating Kuranda and Mareeba, travel for about 10 minutes by car again and you will see the traffic lights at the turn off to Kuranda to the left.
Continue straight ahead to the Kuranda Resort which is about 500m on the left after the lights at the Kuranda turn off.
Having 2 pools, restaurant, bar, tennis courts, gym, internet, tours pick up, tour desk, pick up and drop off from Kuranda, native animals, walking distance to the village of Kuranda and Barron falls and walking tracks through the rainforest.
