Hotel Gearin in Katoomba

Established in 1881, with additions being made in 1919 and 1927, Hotel Gearin is a beautiful example of the Deco period.   The centerpiece of the hotel is the classic Australian ""long bar"" where we serve ice cold Australian and imported draught beers along with a large range of wines, spirits and bottled beers.   Cool in summer, the hotel is beautifully warmed by two cozy open fireplaces in winter.   Come try our comfortable dining room, serving hearty and inexpensive meals to delight the holiday maker and traveler. The dining room is also available for functions, suitable for 200 guests.   We also have Foxtel showing all the big matches on our large screen.
