Public Transport is at our door, with an airport bus service operating to and from the hotel, while for those with their own transport, security undercover parking is available on site.

The transfer from the airport to the Central Railway Hotel can be made by taxi or door-to-door shuttle bus.

A taxi costs about AUD $20.00 for the trip. The shuttle bus costs AUD $7.00 per person and leaves every half hour from outside the arrival hall.

There is no need to make a reservation. The company operating the bus is called &quot,Kingsford Smith Airport Bus Service&quot,.

There is also the Airport Express public bus which runs on a regular schedule between the airport and the city.

The nearest stop is just across the road opposite Central Railway Hotel.

The best way to get around in Sydney is on foot and ferry or other public transport. Avoid driving a car as parking is a real problem and hefty fines will be issued if you park in the wrong spot.

We recommend the Sydney Explorer Bus, which runs every 20 minutes on a fixed route which is of interest to the visitor. The ticket entitles to unlimited rides for a whole day. Alternatively one can use the underground, buses or taxis.
