The friendly staff at Australian Sunrise Lodge will help you with information about Sydney sightseeing, about our accommodation and about Australian life.   Guest facilities at Australian Sunrise Lodge include a shared kitchen fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils, a guest lounge area, public telephone and garden courtyard with barbecue and an office with fax and email facilities.   Newtown railway station and St. Peters railway station are both only five minutes walk from the hotel. It's a 6 minute trip to Sydney Central. The 422 downtown bus to Sydney Opera House stops right at the hotel door. You can also take the 370 bus from the hotel door to Coogee beach, one of Australia's famous surfing beaches!

Wichtige Hinweise

Please note: All rooms are Non-Smoking.   Check-in time is from 2pm to 12 midnight. Check-out time is 11am   Our reception office opens at 9.00am and closes at 12 midnight.   Please arrange to arrive at the hotel after 9am as the reception is closed and there is no access from the street to the hotel before 9am. If you arrive before 9am, you would have to wait on the street until 9am when the reception staff arrive at work.   If you arrive at the hotel on your booking date between 9am and 2pm, if your room is ready you can check in early. Also, you can leave your luggage at our office and use the hotel facilities from 9am until your room is ready.

If you are arriving at Sydney airport, please take a taxi from the airport to the hotel.
Its the cheapest and quickest way.
Give the taxi driver the complete address of the hotel
The taxi fare is approx. AUD$18
The taxi trip takes approx. 10 minutes
Ask the taxi driver to take you via the Princes Highway.
This is the quickest way and the taxi driver will not be tempted to take you on the long way around.

If you are arriving at Sydney Central railway station, take the rail to Newtown Station (it's only 2 stops, a 6 minute trip).
At Newtown station, walk up the stairs to King Street.
At the top of the stairs, turn to your left and walk 500 m ( 5 mins) to number 485 King St.
