‘Welcome to Airlie Waterfront Backpackers, located in Airlie Beach, the gateway to the beautiful Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef.   Magnificently located across from the beach and foreshore, we are just a short easy walk from the main street, lagoon and bus station.   Having recently undergone a major refurbishment, you’ll find our rooms modern, clean and air-conditioned, most with en suite showers & toilets. We also have two communal areas and balconies with stunning ocean views.   Looking to escape? It’s time to relax and enjoy the activities the area has to offer. It's your choice of sailing, diving, island resort accommodation, rain forest exploring, seaplane flights, skydiving, fishing, kayaking and more!   Our hostel has a full tour desk to help you with any inquiry. You can also email us prior to arrival with any sailing inquiries and we're happy to provide unbiased, local advise.   Looking forward to seeing you soon!   Important: Office is open 7am till 7pm, for late arrivals please call to make arrangements. Any cancellations need to be made by 2pm the day BEFORE check-in. For groups of six or more cancellations need to be made by 2pm three days BEFORE check-in.

Airlie Waterfront Backpacker’s Terms & Conditions:   Reception is open from 7am - 8pm so EARLY CHECK OUTS MUST BE INFORM RECEPTION (before 7am)   Check Out time is strictly 10am. To extend your stay, you must pay before 10am.   NO SMOKING or ALCOHOL in ROOMS. Smoking is permitted on the outside balconies only. If the fire alarms are activated an incurred cost of the fire brigade visit will be charged to the guest responsible.

From the coach terminal please walk towards the Airlie Beach town centre and you will find us on the left hand side after about 250m, directly across from the beach.

CAR:
As you drive into Airlie Beach follow the main street and turn left into the Esplanade - you'll find us on the right hand side.

PLANE:
Catch a bus transfer from the airport (Proserpine/Whitsunday Coast) or ferry &amp, bus (Hamilton Island) and tell the bus driver that you are staying with us, so they can drop you off nearby.
