Rockhampton, known as the ""Beef Capital of Australia"", is also the gateway to Great Keppel Island and outback Queensland. Rockhampton Backpackers is located a short walk from the Fitzroy River and CBD shops.   There is a large, well-equipped kitchen, dining room, and TV/ lounge room with cushy leather lounges to rest your weary body and help you to feel at home. Wegbeschreibung

Greyhound bus, Queensland Rail and Airlines service Rockhampton daily. Courtesy transfers to and from the bus and train terminals available within reception hours. If driving from the north, get off the Bruce Highway and head towards the city center along Queen Elizabeth Drive.

Turn left at Edwin St, then left again at Musgrave St then right at Macfarlane St. Coming from the south, turn right at Fitzroy St towards the city then go across the bridge, through the traffic lights then right at Bernard St. Then left at Musgrave St and finally right into Macfarlane St.
