Great Aussie Backpackers is an oasis in the heart of busy Kings Cross.   We offer guests dorms (some are all-girl) and private rooms. All rooms have a TV and a fridge, and most have ensuites.   1 hour free Internet on check in and breakfast are included in the price of your room. We have two kitchens and a spacious courtyard for relaxation.   On Friday we have a free big Aussie BBQ and afterwards Peter will take you to the pub and buy you a drink! Most other nights we have someone to take you to a different bar and get you a free drink. It’s fun and a great way to meet other travelers.   If you pay for three or more nights when you check in you get vouchers for 15 free drinks in 15 bars in Sydney. Paying for 3 or more nights also qualifies you for a free airport pick up!   The friendly and helpful staff here can help you find a job, buy a car, show you Sydney like us locals know it or tell you where to party every night!

Minutes away on foot and by public transport from the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, city centre and other major sites. We are a 20 minute bus ride from Sydney airport.
