Recoleta Guest House in Buenos Aires

Built in the 19th century the house has a magic and elegant charm. Its neo-tudor style was widely used in late Victorian Buenos Aires mostly because of the British influence in Argentina who were in charge of the cereal trading and the railway system.   Original features include its brick walls, which hold two enormous bow windows and a mysterious shield which epitomises the house's heritage.     Nowadays, Recoleta Guest House surprises with its refined details and its elegance, typical from local and European aristocracy of those days. The floors are covered by Slavonian oak wood and the stairs with the finest European marble. This atmosphere leads our guests to travel back in time to those glamorous days of the Belle Époque.   The crystal chandeliers, the furniture made of the finest woods and the excellent Argentinian paintings create an ambience, which is perfect for relaxing and having endless conversations.
