Backpackers Ritz in Johannesburg

The Ritz is the longest running hostel in Jo'burg, set in a mansion with large beautiful gardens. You can chill by the pool or catch up with friends on email.

Situated near the exciting suburbs Hyde Park and Rosebank, there is plenty to see and do in the local area. The African Craft Market is open every day except Mondays, the Rosebank Rooftop Market is open every Sunday and bank holiday.

There are 6 art galleries to visit and many, many restaurants and cafes offering food from all over the globe.

From the airport take the R24 to Jo'burg, then the N3 to Pretoria, then the M2 to city centre, then the M1 north to Sandton, take the Jan Smuts turn off then turn left, North Road is about 5kms, just after the Dunkeld Shopping Centre. The Ritz is the last building at the end of the cul-de-sac.
