The Youth Hostel Berlin – Am Wannsee with a huge outdoor area is located on the bank of the lake Wannsee. We offer 285 beds in four-bedded rooms, some with private bathrooms. Otherwise one shower is shared by two rooms, the toilets are next to the room. There is a limited number of single and double rooms available.   The special feature of the Youth Hostel is our extraordinary location at the famous lake Wannsee, which offers a quiet and recreativ stay compared to the hustle and bustle of a big city. Nevertheless the city centre of Berlin can be reached directly within 15 minutes by S-Bahn (public transportation). Also the city of Potsdam with the world famous castle Sanssouci can be reached within 15 minutes only. Many places of excursions can be reached easily and fast.   We are looking forward to welcome you as our guest!!!   IMPORTANT: For a stay with us a Hostelling International Membership is required. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of 3.10 Euro for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of more than 4,500 Youth Hostels worldwide. Germany residents can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for 12,50 Euro per year (older than 26 years and family for 21,00 Euro) upon arrival.   Prices apply to guests younger than 26 years. Guests older than 26 years pay a surcharge of 3,00 Euro per person and night. All prices include breakfast and sheets.

Take S-Bahn S7 direction &quot,S Potsdam Hbf” to stop “S Nikolasee” and follow the signs (take exit “Strandbad Wannsee” and cross the pedestrian bridge to Kronprinzessinnenweg, then turn left until you reach Badeweg).

From Aiport Tegel
Take Bus 186 direction “S+U Zoologischer Garten” to stop “S Charlottenburg”. Then take S-Bahn S7 direction &quot,S Potsdam Hbf” to stop “S Nikolasee” and follow the signs (take exit “Strandbad Wannsee” and cross the pedestrian bridge to Kronprinzessinnenweg, then turn left until you reach Badeweg).

From Airport Schönefeld
Take S-Bahn S9 direction “S Spandau Bhf” to stop “S Westkreuz”. Then take S-Bahn S7 direction &quot,S Potsdam Hbf” to stop “S Nikolasee” and follow the signs (take exit “Strandbad Wannsee” and cross the pedestrian bridge to Kronprinzessinnenweg, then turn left until you reach Badeweg).

From Bus Station (ZOB)
Take S-Bahn S42 Circle Line “Ringbahn” one stop only to stop “S Westkreuz”. Then take S-Bahn S7 direction &quot,S Potsdam Hbf” to stop “S Nikolasee” and follow the signs (take exit “Strandbad Wannsee” and cross the pedestrian bridge to Kronprinzessinnenweg, then turn left until you reach Badeweg 100m).

By Car
From highway A10 “Berliner Ring” and take exit Berlin (Zehlendorf) to highway A115. Take exit “Spanische Allee” and turn left to Kronprinzessinnenweg (follow sign “Strandbad Wannsee”. Turn left again until you reach Badeweg, 100m).
